Handmade, secret wood oak and blue pearlescent resin pendant 10

This handmade pendant is made from oak and resin. The oak has been snapped leaving a jagged edge. You can see the wood fibres within the resin. This technique is known as secret wood or hidden wood. The resin is blue with a pearlescent pigment. The whole piece has been finished with Danish Oil to provide a hard wearing finish. These items are unique because the split in the wood cannot be replicated.

The pendant is about 5.5cm tall and 1.3cm wide and 0.6cm deep.

The pendant comes with a length of faux leather cord.

For information, I use recycled packaging whenever possible.
